Itty Bitty Cheesecakes

The ingredients used to make ‘grown up’ cheesecakes are not ideal for baby – but our Itty Bitty Cheesecakes are just perfect!

They’re nice and soft and make a fabulous finger food for independent little diners who like to feed themselves!

Itty Bitty Cheesecakes for Baby

Here’s what you’ll need…

1oz (1/8 cup) baby’s favourite fruit puree (we like to use strawberries or blueberries as shown, but any naturally sweet fruit puree will work well)
4oz (1/2 cup) cream cheese
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
toasted wheat germ

Stir the fruit puree into the cream cheese and blend thoroughly.

Using a teaspoon, drop little ‘blobs’ of the cream cheese mixture into a separate bowl containing the wheat germ.

Carefully roll the cream cheese blobs in the wheat germ, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Don’t worry if they look a bit shapeless at this point!

Chill until firm, mould into balls and serve!
