Itty Bitty Cheesecakes
Apr 17th, 2008 by Christine
The ingredients used to make ‘grown up’ cheesecakes are not ideal for baby – but our Itty Bitty Cheesecakes are just perfect!
They’re nice and soft and make a fabulous finger food for independent little diners who like to feed themselves!
Here’s what you’ll need…
1oz (1/8 cup) baby’s favourite fruit puree (we like to use strawberries, but any naturally sweet fruit puree will work well)
4oz (1/2 cup) cream cheese
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
toasted wheat germ
Stir the fruit puree into the cream cheese and blend thoroughly.
Using a teaspoon, drop little ‘blobs’ of the cream cheese mixture into a separate bowl containing the wheat germ.
Roll the cream cheese blobs in the wheat germ to form little balls (ensuring they are thoroughly coated).
Chill until firm… and serve!

These are really yummy – Aiden loved them and I ate some of them myself. We used pureed peach!
