Recall of babyGap Children’s Coats (US/Canada)

| May 1, 2009 | 0 Comments

babyGap is recalling around 23,000 children’s coats in the US and Canada because the toggle fasteners may break and come off, posing a potential choking hazard.

There are three different styles of coats included in this recall (you can see photographs of the coats here).

They were sold in infant sizes up to 24 months and are made of cotton, polyester, or polyester/acrylic. The toggles are light tan plastic and about 1 3/4 inches long.

These coats were sold at babyGap, GapKids and Gap Stores nationwide and at www.gap.com for between $20 and $50 from October 2008 through April 2009.

If your little one has one of these coats, please stop using it and return it to any babyGap, GapKids, or Gap store. You will be given a full refund.

Please note: If you return the coat before August 31, 2009 you will also be given a coupon for 20 percent off a regular priced item.

If your bought your coat online, please Contact Gap to return it by mail.
