Recall of Children’s Knitted Hats
May 6th, 2009 by Christine
Almost 400 Erwin Beanie and Poseidon Beanie Children’s Knitted Hats manufactured in Canada are being recalled because the eyeballs (on the Erwin Beanie) or the octopus legs (on the Poseidon Beanie) can loosen, posing a choking hazard.
If you have one of these hats, which were sold at specialty sports and ski shops nationwide from September 2008 through November 2008 for about $30, then you should stop using it. You can return it to Ambler Mountain for a free product replacement, or you can cut off the frog’s eyes and the octopus legs and permanently dispose of them.
For more information please, contact Ambler at (888) 267-6968 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. MT Monday to Friday or by email Ambler at returns@amblermw.com
