Recall of Cilantro (Coriander) – US
Jul 19th, 2009 by Christine
Fresh cilantro, which may have been sold directly to consumers in McAllen, Texas and surrounding areas, is being recalled because it may be contaminated with salmonella.
The cilantro was originally sold in large crates to companies who may then sold it on through retail sale – therefore, if you have bought fresh cilantro (coriander) in McAllen, Texas or surrounding areas since July 13, 2009, then you need to ask the retailer if the cilantro is from the batch included in this recall.
If you have any questions, please contact the company at 956-687-6683.
