Recall of Daiso Wooden Toys, Children’s Toys, Purses and Pen Cases (California)
Oct 7th, 2009 by Christine
Two separate recalls have been released by the CPSC regarding various ‘Daiso’ products.
The first is concerns a variety of wooden toys that were sold in Daiso stores in California from December 2008 through May 2009 for between $1 and $4. These toys have small parts which may pose a choking hazard to young children.
You can see details of the toys concerned – including photographs – here on the CPSC website.
The second recall involves products that you wouldn’t necessarily have bought for your baby, but that you may still have at home if you have older children. This time, the recalled products include various children’s toys, purses and pen cases which contain too much lead or are high in phthalates.
Again, the CPSC website has photographs of all products concerned here, along with more identifying details.
