Recall of Dinosaur Play Sets (US)

| April 30, 2009 | 0 Comments

Dinosaur Play Sets, sold by DND Trading in Los Angeles throughout December 2008 for about $7, are being recalled because the paint on the monkey in the set is too high in lead. This is probably not a toy you would have bought for your baby – but if your little one is crawling and you have older children, too, then it’s something worth noting!

The toy involved is the “Dinosaur Era 2 Hunting Dinosaur” play set, which contains a dinosaur, a helicopter, trees, a hunter, a monkey and various hunting equipment. You can see photographs of the product on the CPSC website.

If you DO have one of these sets, please throw the monkey away and call DND Imports collect at (818) 815-1791 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday. You will be given a refund or exchange.
