Recall of Earthentree Wooden Toys (US)
Jul 30th, 2008 by Christine
A variety of Wooden Toys by Earthentree are being recalled because they either contain small parts or may break into small parts, posing a choking hazard. Some of the toys include a string longer than 12 inches (which can pose a strangulation hazard) and the rattles violate the federal rattle standard.
The toys involved in this recall include pull toys, trains, rattles and egg shakers (maracas). The toys are painted glossy red, green, orange, yellow, brown or natural wood. They were sold for around $7 to $34 at Earthentree’s website, Trade Shows, Fairs and retail stores across the US from December 2007 through May 2008.
If you have any of these toys at home, please take them away from your child and contact Earthentree at (800) 963-1593 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday for an exchange or refund. Alternatively, you can visit their website at www.earthentree.com/recall.
