Recall of ‘Freefrom’ Breadcrumbs and Stuffing (UK)
Jul 11th, 2008 by Christine
These may not be items you include in your baby’s menu – but, to be on the safe side, you may like to know that Sainsbury’s is recalling two Freefrom products because they may contain gluten. Gluten is not listed as an ingredient – but it can cause health problems for people with gluten allergy or intolerance and should not be given to babies under 6 months of age at all (more information here).
The products concerned are: * Sainsbury’s Freefrom Stuffing, 113g
* Best before: up to and including March 2009
* Sainsbury’s Freefrom Breadcrumbs, 113g
* Best before: up to and including April 2009
If you have bought either of these products, just take them to the customer services desk, where you will be given a full refund.
