| July 22, 2009 | 0 Comments

One batch of Heinz Mum’s Own Recipe Spaghetti Bolognese (7 months +)  baby food in 200g jars is being recalled because there is a possibility that it may contain small pieces of plastic, presenting a choking risk.

The batch included in this recall is 9136 – you can find the batch number marked on the top of the cap. The jars have a best before end date of 11 / 2010 – you can find this date on the side of the cap.

ONLY the 7 months + variety of Mum’s Own Spaghetti Bolognese are affected by this recall – no other Heinz Baby Food varieties are affected.

If you have one of these jars, then – of course – please don’t use it. Instead, you should call the Heinz UK Careline on +44(0)8000-151557 for a full refund, or in the Republic of Ireland +353-1800-696979.
