Recall of Jump ‘n Jive Doorway Jumpers (US)

| August 6, 2009 | 0 Comments

Jump ‘n Jive™ Doorway Jumpers are being recalled because they may pose a choking hazard. The problem is caused by the detachable toy attached to the jumper straps – apparently, the toys can come detached when the jumper is used. There has been one report of a child removing the fabric strip that attaches the toy to the strap and putting it in his/her mouth

The product involved comes with an interactive musical dance mat and two detachable toys. You can find the model number, 1755544, on the carton UPC label and on the underside of the jumper tray. These doorway jumpers were sold from April 2009 through July 2009 for around $55 at Babies R Us and other children’s speciality retail stores nationwide and online from Amazon.com.

If you have one of these jumpers, please stop using it, remove the detachable toys and attaching fabric strips and throw them away. Your child can then use the jumper again – and if you call the manufacturer you will be sent a replacement set of toys.
