Kolcraft is recalling its Contours Options LT Tandem Strollers because the front wheel assembly may break, which obviously poses a fall hazard. Also, the nuts that holding the basket support screws may detach in strollers manufactured in January and February 2012. These can pose a choking hazard to young children.
All Contours Options LT tandem strollers with model number ZT012 are included in this recall. You can find both the model number and date of manufacture on a label on the rear leg of the stroller. “Options LT” is printed on a bar along the side of the stroller.
These strollers were sold for about $250 by a variety of retailers and online between February 2012 and July 2012 .
If you have one of these strollers, please stop using it and contact Kolcraft to receive free replacement wheels. If your stroller was manufactured in January or February 2012, you will also receive replacement nuts for the basket support screws.
