Recall of Simplicity Play Yards (US)

| April 8, 2009 | 0 Comments

25,000 Travel Tender Play Yards are being recalled by Simplicity because one or more of the rails can unexpectedly collapse. This, of course, means that a young child could become trapped in the equipment, or fall from it.

Recall of Simplicity Play YardsThese portable play yards were sold with a changing table, bassinet and mobile and bear the “Simplicity” logo. The model numbers affected are 5500DRM, 5500WDS, 5500FEL, 5501FEL, 5502MON, 5520PRO, 5550HAN, 5700MAN, and 5750MIR. You can find the model number on a sticker on one of the legs underneath the play yard.

The cribs were sold for around $100 at Burlington Coat Factory stores nationwide and online at Babiesrus.com, Target.com and Kohls.com from March 2005 through January 2009.

If you have one of the cribs, you should stop using it immediately and take it back to the place you bought it from for a full refund or a replacement. If you need more information, here are the contact numbers…
