Recall of Tesco Canned Beans (UK)

This may not be a product that you would feed to your baby… but just to be on the safe side, we wanted to let you know that Tesco stores are recalling some of their canned beans and sausages because they may contain small pieces of plastic.
The products involved are
Tesco Beans & Sausage 220g
Tesco Beans & Sausage 420g
Tesco Beans & Sausage 850g
Tesco Value Beans & Sausage 567g
Tesco Vegetarian Beans & Sausage 420g
The recall involves all codes up to and including BBE DEC 2009, with a factory code of SC100481. The cans are also marked ‘Produced in Italy’. You can find the BBE code on the lid of the can and the factory code/country of production on the side of the can, following the Tesco promise.
