Dec 6th, 2008 by Christine
Walgreens is recalling 173 teddy bears, which were sold with chocolate barsĀ since late September 2008.
According to the FDA, tests showed that some of the chocolate bars supplied with the bears were contaminated with melamine. Customers are now being asked to return these bears to the Walgreens store they purchased them from, for a full refund.
The product concerned is a 9 inch high Dressy Teddy Bear, sold with a 4 oz bar of chocolate. The UPC number of the product is 047475864485 and you can find the item number 291332 on the tag.
