Tupperware (US) Recalls Toy Maracas
Shape-O Toy Maracas are being recalled by Tupperware (US) because they can break, exposing small parts. This means they may pose a choking hazard to baby – and, even if they don’t break, the handle of the toy itself may pose a suffocation hazard.

The maracas involved in this recall are blue and red, with yellow handles and shapes cut out inside. They were used during sales presentations by Tupperware representatives and sold via Tupperware’s Holiday 2007 and Spring 2008 product catalogs from September 2007 through April 2008 for between $5.50 and $11.
Both consumers and Tupperware representatives are being advised to stop using the maracas and return them to Tupperware, in order to receive a gift certificate or a refund. You can also access maraca return forms at www.tupperware.com
If you have any questions, please contact Tupperware at (888) 887-9273 between 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm’s Web site at www.tupperware.com
