Wood Abacus Recall (US)
Sep 24th, 2008 by Christine
LTD Commodities have recalled their Wood Abacus because the wooden rods can detach, posing a coking hazard to young children.
The multi-sided activity center has movable letters with pictures, a chalkboard, a maze with gears, sliding shapes and a blue and yellow clock with pink moving hands.
You can find the product code E7A printed on the packaging near the UPC bar code.
The abacus was sold for about $12 by LTD Commodities and ABC Distributing catalogs and their website from December 2006 through February 2008 .
Please take this abacus away from your children immediately and contact LTD Commodities toll-free at (866) 736-3654 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT Monday through Friday to receive instructions on receiving a product credit.
Alternatively, you may visit the firm’s website at www.ltdcommodities.com or www.abcdistributing.com.
