We received a message this week from Mum Melissa in Amsterdam who wanted to share one of her baby food recipes, which has actually turned out to be favourite meal of her 7 month old son, Misha.
It certainly sounds yummy and we’ll be giving it a try for our little man when we can get hold of some apricots (which are sadly in short supply in our part of the world, even in their dried form!). We hope YOUR little one enjoys Melissa’a recipe…
What you need:
1 mango
few sundried apricots or fresh if you live in warm country
1 mature bananaPeel and chop the mango in small cubes.
Cut the apricots in small bits, then put the apricots and mango in a small pan with a little water.
Let them simmer until the fruit is tender.
Pour everything in a food blender, add the chopped banana and blend it up. It’s tasty, healthy and a great way to start the day!
