There’s nothing nicer than summer days spent with your baby on the beach, or in your backyard or garden. But his delicate skin can burn very quickly, so keeping him well protected from the sun is vital.
Our favorite way to do that is by using a shade tent – a simple, lightweight shelter that offers UV protection and somewhere away from the sand (and bugs!) for baby to sleep.
There are many shade tents on the market, but some are better than others. We tend to prefer those that simply pop up… and pop right back down!
In the past we’ve tried the types that use bendy poles that slot together – but in our opinion they are fiddly to assemble and very prone to breakage.
