Phil&Teds Dash Strollers Recalled in Australia

Phil&Teds Dash Strollers are being recalled in Australia because the finger of the person using one may become crushed in the hinge when opening or closing the stroller.

The 3 wheel stroller involved in this recall is a discontinued product – the last one was imported into Australia in August 2010.
The stroller has a black powder-coated steel frame and a fabric seat, basket and hood. You can find either a mark saying “Model SPD” or a label stating, “Model Dv2” on the handle strap.

These strollers were sold from 1st March 2008 to 31st August 2011 at various stores across Australia.

If you have one, you are advised that you may continue to use it, but you should contact phil&teds via their web site or call 1800-888586 to obtain a self-fit hinge cover kit. All retailers within the phil&teds distribution network will also have these kits – you do not need to return the stroller.
