With Halloween just around the corner, the stores are becoming filled with pumpkins – so it’s a great time to get cooking this nutritious vegetable for your baby!
Pumpkins are a rich source of beta-carotene. That’s the nutrient that gives them that fabulous orange colour and which your baby’s body converts to vitamin A, helping to support his immune system.
Pumpkins also have an excellent texture for making baby food, producing wonderfully smooth and velvety purees and soups.
And if your little one is an independent kinda guy (or gal), we recommend pumpkin as a fantastic first food for baby led weaning!
