The Land of Nod is recalling its “Play With Your Veggies” toys because the metal wire in the asparagus can become exposed, posing a laceration hazard.
These toy vegetables sets are made of felt wool and include six vegetables: radish, onion, asparagus, tomato, lettuce and carrot. The asparagus is the only toy vegetable involved in this recall.
The sets were sold exclusively at The Land of Nod stores in Illinois and Washington, the Land of Nod catalog and www.landofnod.com for about $25 from October 2007 through February 2010.
If you have one of these sets, please take out the toy asparagus and return it to the land of Nod, who will give you another asparagus toy in replacement.
