Recall of Bumbleride Indie Strollers (US and Canada)

Bumbleride Indie and Indie Twin Strollers are being recalled as it’s possible that the front wheel could break at the axle hub. This could cause the stroller to tip, posing an obvious danger to baby.

The Bumbleride Indie strollers being recalled are model numbers I-107, I-110 and I-205 with a DOM (Date of Manufacture) from January 2009 through August 2011. These were sold in a variety of colours. You can find the DOM (Date of Manufacture) on a white rectangular sticker on the side of the seat frame.

The Bumbleride Indie Twin strollers being recalled are model numbers IT-108, IT-111, and IT-305 with a DOM (Date of Manufacture) from January 2009 through August 2011. These, too, were sold in various colours, but the DOM (Date of Manufacture) sticker is on the underside of the handle.

The strollers were sold for between $500 and $700 at various baby product stores nationwide, online at Bumbleride.com, and at other online retailers between January 2009 and January 2012.

If you have one of these strollers, please stop using it at once. You should contact Bumbleride, who will issue you with a free front wheel retrofit kit.

Email them at support@bumbleride.com or call (800) 530-3930 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PT Monday through Friday.
