Recall of ducduc Fixed Sided Cribs (US)

ducduc fixed-side cribs are being recalled because it’s possible for the bottom rails on the crib sides to separate from the sides when the mattress is in the lowest position. This can cause the spindles to separate and the mattress to drop, posing both fall and entrapment hazards for children.

The model names and item numbers of the cribs included in this recall are listed below. You can find the name”ducduc” and the code on a label on the mattress panel.

These cribs were sold for between $1,500 and $1,800 at the ducduc New York showroom, online at www.ducducnyc.com, at specialty stores and via interior designers across America from January 2009 through February 2011.

If you have one of these cribs, please stop using it at once if you have the mattress in the lowest position. Please contact ducduc (if you have not already been contacted by the company) for a free repair kit which includes new sides for the crib.
