A joint recall is being issued by the US CPSC and Health Canada of the Cake Toys that come with the Evenflo ExerSaucer® 1-2-3 Tea for Me™ Activity Learning Centers.
The problem is caused by the candle flame attached to the top of the cake toy, which can come off and may cause a choking hazard to young children.
The Exersaucers involved in this recall have a tea party theme, with a two–tier cake that is light blue, dark pink and yellow. The models included in the recall are 6161834 and 6161920. You can find the model number printed on the packaging and on a label on the underside of the base of the Exersaucer.
This toy was sold for about $70 at Toys “R” Us and juvenile product stores from December 2007 through March 2009 .
If you have one of the recalled models, please remove the cake toy immediately and contact Evenflo at (800) 233-5921 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday for a free replacement toy.
