Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling Safety 1st Disney Care Center™ Play Yard and Eddie Bauer Complete Care Play Yards because the one piece metal bars that support the bassinet floorboard can come out of the fabric sleeves , creating an uneven sleeping surface and posing a risk of suffocation or positional asphyxiation.
Fortunately, however, no injuries have been reported.
The portable play yards were sold with a bassinet attachment and a built-in changing station.

You can find the model number printed on a sticker on one of the support legs underneath the play yard. “Safety 1st” or “Eddie Bauer” are printed near the bottom of the fabric sides of the play yards.
These products were sold for between $100 and $130 at Babies “R” Us, Kmart, Sears, Target and Walmart from January 2007 through October 2009.
If you have one of these playards, please stop using the bassinet attachment and contact Dorel Juvenile Group for a free repair kit. The repair kit includes replacement bassinet fabric, bassinet bars and installation instructions.
