This is because the packs actually contain SO Organic Celeriac & Mushroom Soup, posing a risk of allergic reaction to anyone sensitive to either celery or celeriac.
The product involved is Sainsbury’s SO Organic Pumpkin & Sweet Red Pepper Soup, 600g, with a ‘Use By’ date of 7 October 2008. You can find this date on the top of the lid.
If you have any of the recalled packs at home, please return them to your nearest Sainsbury’s store for a full refund.
