Recall of Sliced Bread Varieties (Australia)

Falcones Bread Pty Ltd is recalling the following sliced bread varieties because there is a risk that they may contain small pieces of metal:

• Baker’s Life 650g Sliced Bread -white toast, multigrain toast, wholemeal toast

• Falcones Brand 650g Sliced Bread – white toast, multigrain, wholemeal, white sandwich

• Aussie Farmers 650g Sliced Bread – white toast, multigrain, wholemeal, white sandwich

• Falcones Cheep 650g Sliced Bread – white toast, multigrain, wholemeal, white sandwich

• Friendly Grocer 650g Sliced Bread – White, Wholemeal, Multigrain

• Falcones Value Loaf 450g

• Falcones Family Loaf 650g

The packaging shows a “Use By” date of JAN 24 and the bread was sold in Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales from 20th January 2011 – 21st January 2011, by Aldi supermarkets, newsagents, take-away stores, service stations and independent retailers.

If you have any of this bread, please don’t eat it – instead, you should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
