Recall of Toy Drums (US and Canada)

Step2® Basic Rhythms Drum™ Toys are being recalled because the plastic clips that attach the drumsticks to the drum may break. The small broken pieces may then present a choking hazard.

10206The drum involved in the recall, meant for preschool age children, has two drumsticks that can be stored in clips on the side of the drum. There is a red “Step2®” logo printed on the side of the drum. Please note that drums with NO clips on the side are NOT involved in this recall.

Toys “R” Us, Burlington Coat Factory and other retail stores nationwide. They were sold for between $10 and $15 from August 2009 through March 2010.

What should you do if you have one of the recalled drums?

US CONSUMERS

Please take the toy away from your child and contact Step2 toll-free at (866) 860-1887 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, to receive a free replacement toy. Alternatively, you can visit their website.

CANADIAN CONSUMERS
