Recall of Tumble Tower Infant Rattles (US)

The Manhattan Group is recalling its Tumble Tower Infant Rattles because they may pose a choking hazard to babies. The fault lies in the blue plastic end cap, which may break.

Manhattan Toy rattle recallThe toys, which were sold for around $15 at gift and specialty stores nationwide, mail order catalogs, and via the internet, are about 5 inches long. They are made of clear plastic, with two handles and blue end caps. There are rings on the outside of the handles and beads inside – there is also a blue face inside that spins when the purple post is turned.

These rattles were sold from September 2007 through April 2008.

If you have one of these toys at home, please take it away from your baby and return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund. Alternatively, you can contact Manhattan Group toll-free at (800) 541-1345 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT to exchange the rattle for a different toy, or visit their website.
