We’re slightly off topic today, as our post is not about homemade baby food – instead, we just HAD to tell you about a site that we just discovered, where you can create a wonderful video message from Santa for your children.
Obviously, a message from Santa won’t mean a great deal to younger babies – but if you have older children, then you simply have to give this a try! We used the site to prepare video messages for two of our children – ages 5 and 8 – and they were filled with wonder. We even filmed our five year old’s reaction to the message and it was just magical!
When you visit the site, you are asked to provide details for your child – their name (of course), location, age, eye colour, hair colour etc – along with the name of something they really want for Christmas (and that you have already bought for them). You can also upload a photograph of your child. Without giving anything away, we should point out that the way the photo is used in the video message is what makes the video so utterly magical and enthralling for your child – our little ones gasped with joy and it was lovely to watch!
We recommend visiting the site during the day – when we tried it in the (US) evening hours, it was very slow, probably because it was overloaded with children happily receiving their messages.
The site is Portable North Pole – and, in case you were wondering, the PNP (Portable North Pole) console is a technological breakthrough that makes real-time communication with the North Pole possible! Please do try it for yourselves and let us know if your children enjoyed the magic as much as ours!
