Halloween is fast approaching and many of us will be thinking about what to do with all that pumpkin we scoop out when making our Jack O Lanterns!
In our house, we tend to avoid the massive pumpkins usually sold at this time of year and opt instead, for the smaller pumpkins known as ‘sugar pumpkins’, ‘sweet pumpkins’ or ‘pie pumpkins’. They are far superior in taste and can still be used to make Jack O Lanterns – obviously they’ll be smaller than usual, but our young children actually prefer cute little pumpkins with smiling features… as opposed to the big, scary ones!
So – once you’ve selected your pumpkin and scooped out the flesh, head on over to our Pumpkin Baby Food Recipes page and we’ll give you some great ideas for making a variety of yummy meals for YOUR little monster!
