No More BPA In Baby Bottles!

An update on the Bisphenol-A situation in the US – six leading manufacturers of baby bottles have agreed to STOP using BPA in their products. Despite previous assurances that the chemical is safe, manufacturers have come under increasing pressure from worried parents to stop using BPA, which studies have linked to health problems. Canada banned BPA in baby bottles back in April last year.

The six manufacturer’s finally taking action against BPA are Evenflo, Avent, Disney First Years, Gerber, Dr. Brown, and Playtex. Hopefully, all companies producing baby bottles will follow suit – particularly since the adverse publicity surrounding BPA has led many parents to seek safer alternatives in any case.
