Phil & Teds Strollers – Recall to Repair

Phil & Teds e3 Single Buggy, e3 Twin Buggy and sport v1 Single Buggy Strollers are being recalled for repair (425 e3 Twin Buggy Strollers were recalled on May 5, 2006).

The problem is that the hinge locking mechanism on the stroller poses a laceration hazard to the person folding and unfolding the stroller.

The strollers involved in the recall have metal frames, three wheels, a canopy and a cloth seat. The twin strollers have four wheels, double sun canopies and side-by-side cloth seats. These strollers were sold in various colours including orange, red, black, green, navy and charcoal. You can find the Phil and Teds logo on the crotch piece of the harness.

The strollers were sold at baby furniture and baby products stores from August 2003 through August 2008 for between $400 and $650.

Please stop using these strollers and contact Regal Lager toll-free at (877) 242-5676 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, in order to obtain a free hinge cover repair kit and instructions. Alternatively, you may visit their website.
