Kool Kidz and World 4 Kids Magnetic Numbers and Magnetic Letters are being recalled because the magnets attached to the back of the numbers and letters may come off, posing a dangerous ingestion hazard to young children. Loose magnets have prompted an enormous number of recalls of late and are particularly hazardous because the ingestion of more than one magnet can lead to them attracting each other. This can cause intestinal blockages or perforations, which can be fatal.
