Recall of Liga Baby Biscuits (Ireland)

Liga ‘Original’ baby biscuits are being recalled in Ireland because they take too long to soften in baby’s mouth. This has led to concerns that they may present a choking hazard to younger babies if given dry, or that they would cause discomfort.

The biscuits do not present any hazard at all if first mixed with a liquid such as milk.

The manufacturers will now be re-wording the feeding instructions on packs of these biscuits, to state that babies from 6 to 9 months of age should ONLY be given them mixed with liquid, not dry.

No other Liga products are affected by this recall and your baby is not at any risk if he has already eaten any of these biscuits.

If you need more information, please call 1800 511 111 during working hours. And if you have bought the biscuits and now require a refund, please return them (with your name and address) to:
