Recall of phil&teds Explorer and Hammerhead Strollers (Australia)

phil&teds Explorer and Hammerhead Strollers are being recalled because the brakes may not function correctly, even though they appear to be properly engaged.

The “Explorer” stroller has 3 wheels and a black powder-coated steel frame – the “Hammerhead” is a 4 wheeled version.

The serial numbers involved in this recall range from 0610/0001 through to 0111/4788 – the first 4 numbers are in MMYY format.

These strollers were sold from 1st July 2010 – 30th December 2010 across Australia via online retailers and at specialty juvenile goods retail outlets.

If you have one of these strollers, please contact phil&teds online or via 1800 888 586 in order to obtain a free upgrade to the Series 2 brake system.

You can either choose to install the new frame at home, or opt for a phil&teds service centre upgrade.
