Recall of Safety 1st Complete Healthcare Kits (Australia)

Safety 1st Complete Healthcare Kits are being recalled in Australia. This is because the thermometer in the kit reads in degrees Fahrenheit and thermometers in Australia are required to read in degrees Celsius.

The kit comes in an easy view nylon case, which is white with orange and blue flowers. It comprises a medicine spoon, medicine dropper, digital thermometer, nail clippers and nasal aspirator.

These kits have an Item number of 49773 and a Barcode number of 8439254291 and were sold from 1st April 2011 – 1st June 2011 at KMart, Target, Toys R Us and speciality stores.

If you have one of these kits, please stop using the thermometer and contact the IGC Dorel Customer Service line on 1300 809 526 between 9.00am and 4:30pm (AEST) Monday – Friday to arrange for a free replacement thermometer to be sent you. You can also email the company at sales@igcdorel.com.au or visit www.igcdorel.com.au. Alternatively, you can return the kit to the store you bought it from for a refund.
