Recall of Step2 Basic Rhythms Drums (Australia)

Step2 Basic Rhythms Drums, intended for preschool age children, are being recalled.

The toy has two drumsticks that can be stored in clips on the side of the Drum and a red “Step2” logo printed on its side. The drums have not caused any injuries to date – however, there is a risk that a child could put a piece of the clip into his’her mouth if it broke, posing a choking hazard.

The affected model numbers are:

890232 & 890212

Please note that drums without clips on the side are not affected.

If you have one of these drums, please inspect it. If it has green clips on the side, please stop using the drum and destroy it. You should then contact Educational Experience on their toll free number 1300 134 211 or via hotline@edex.com.au for a full credit or replacement drum.
